The One and Only Way (Ephesians 4:4-6)

Today's scripture: Ephesians 4:4-6

Many people would tell you that there are many ways to salvation. That it doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you’re sincere. That as long as your good outweighs bad, you’re set.

Even many who call themselves Christian say the same. They even say Jesus never claimed to be the only way of salvation.

Now you can certainly choose to believe what you will, but if you believe in the God of the Bible, you’re not given any other option but one:
Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me …’” (John 14:6). Paul expands by stating unequivocally that we who follow Christ, truly desiring to be His disciples, are also one. One in Christ. One in salvation.

This is where our hope comes. If there were many ways to get to heaven, many ways of salvation, then how could we possibly know what to do or what to believe? We who follow the one true God and have accepted the gift of grace He offers have assurance that we will indeed spend eternity with Him. We can follow our Savior—the one who offers the one and only way to the Father. Without Him, there is no other way.

No other way.
