Do All For the Glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31-33)

Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense either to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God; just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit but the profit of the many, so that they may be saved.
(1 Corinthians 10:31-33, NASB)

If only we lived this way: Doing everything to the glory of God.

Everything.

What we think. What we say. What we do. All for God’s glory.

Not too long ago, the initials WWJD were wildly popular: What Would Jesus Do? The idea behind it was exactly what verse 31 says. We should live to always bring glory to God.

Loving others. Treating them with gentleness, kindness, and patience. Looking beyond our differences and celebrating the similarities.

Serving God—heart, soul, mind, and strength. Seeking His will. Following His plan.

Praising Him. Worshipping Him.

Glorifying Him.

In everything.
